Jockey's Ridge 35 on the Outer Banks
Four Bedroom House, Located in Nags Head
Our family stayed in JR 35 the week of Sept 18-25. We really loved your home! Lovely decor and colors, plenty of space and excellent location. We are frequent visitors to OBX and have stayed in all the communities over the years, but we will definitely return to JR 35!
Our five year old son LOVED the built in bunks in the children's rooms and we LOVED the fenced in back yard where he could safely play and run around. Also loved the YMCA privileges and used those facilities 4 times, including the ChildWatch, outdoor pool and basketball court.
All in all, your home had everything we needed for our family vacation. Would love to see a few more kitchen gadgets for cooking and prep, but while we cook/grill a few meals during our trips, one of the highlights of OBX is the great restaurants, and we did not have to go far from your home to enjoy them. Thank you for sharing your home!!
Favorite Family Activites: Mini-golf (Galaxy must've been closed for the season; could not visit but chose another course)
Beach, walks to watch the moonrise on a full moon night!
Jockeys Ridge State Park
Favorite Places to Visit or Eat: Tortuga's Lie (loved being able to walk the 2 blocks on Memorial Ave behind the Beach Rd. to this longtime favorite spot of ours)
Logan's Ice Cream (walked to and from)
Tried Mama Kwan's for the first time this trip. Another winner!
